The following table lists each of the characters specified in the Added Latin 1 entity set, along with its name, syntax for use, and description.

Avoid characters like ", &, < and > because they have meaning to the browser. Instead, use the proper HTML codes or the alternate codes ", &, < and >.

Be aware that the other alternate codes are not always correctly interpreted by each browser, especially not by older versions.
